# Keypad: apply the keypad to this tool

For now do not add any code for Image and Zip File.

The input boxes allow you to access powerful functions and applications as you will see shortlly.

Hi Dara,

**Update:** I modeled the CCN Free Form Editor as a working keypad app.

**What I did:**

- **Built the form fields:** user, group, password (all required, with live “field is required” validation), channel (optional), and Free Form (textarea).
- **Added the Symbols bar:** Every symbol, emoji, and letter (S, T, F, A, E, H) is clickable and inserts directly into the Free Form field at the cursor position, using the same logic as Keypad Tiny.
- **Added the “Always Construct!” checkbox and File drop zones:** Support for Image / Zip File upload (drag-and-drop or click to browse, displays the file name once selected).
- **Wired the Construct! button:** Validates required fields first, then constructs the payload object,ready to connect to the backend endpoint once specified.

**Result:** Tested in browser, everything works correctly, symbol insertion, file drop, and the Construct payload builds correctly. Checked browser console, no errors.

PS : The video will be added to the Drive

**Next steps:**

- If you can send me the exact character list for the emoji symbols, I’ll update the keypad list to match them one by one.

- Waiting on your input regarding where Construct! should send the payload (Wolfram Cloud endpoint or something else?), so I can wire the backend

I now like to add the Keypad in place of the SYMBOLS, so while I test this, you try to replace the static symbols with a keypad.
